Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 23, 2025
cyuconsulting, inc. ("cyuconsulting," "we," "us," or "our") operates cyuconsulting.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit the Site, contact us, or apply for a job. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Site.
- Information you provide: When you use our contact form, we collect details you submit (such as your name, email address, phone number, industry, and inquiry type). When you apply for a position, we collect application information (such as your name, email, phone number, state of residence, voluntary veteran status response, résumé, and the role you applied for).
- Automatic information: If analytics is enabled on the Site, we may collect usage data through Google Analytics (for example, pages viewed, general interaction events, and performance metrics). Analytics loads only after you interact with the Site or after idle time, not in the initial page HTML.
- Browser storage: We use session storage in your browser to limit how often the contact form can be submitted from the same tab. This is a functional safeguard, not used for advertising.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about our services.
- Process and evaluate job applications.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
- Understand Site usage and performance when analytics is enabled.
- Protect the Site against spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions (including honeypot and rate-limiting measures on forms).
- Comply with law and protect our rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as described below.
- Service providers: We use trusted vendors to run the Site and deliver services (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and form processing). These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to perform their services.
- Analytics: When enabled, Google Analytics (Google LLC) may receive usage data subject to Google's policies. You can learn more at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the safety and rights of cyuconsulting, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not set first-party authentication cookies. When Google Analytics is enabled, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to collect analytics data. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, Google's opt-out tools.
Session storage used for contact form rate limiting is cleared when you close the browser tab.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to you, evaluate applications, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and our business needs.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If analytics is enabled, you may also use browser controls and industry opt-out mechanisms to limit analytics collection.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
